The Sacred Heart Academy Parent Connection welcomes you!  We are a volunteer organization that is operated and run by mothers and fathers (and guardians) of student/s who attend SHA. All parents and guardians are invited to volunteer, attend and participate at meetings and events that are given throughout the school year.

The Sacred Heart Academy Parent Connection launched in 2020 and combined the former SHA Mothers' Guild and Fathers Club. 

Our meetings provide valuable information and are held in a comfortable environment, enabling open dialogue among the mothers and fathers of Sacred Heart Academy. We encourage the spirit of volunteerism and collaborate with administration and staff to support school events that foster an atmosphere of respect, communication and fun.

Opportunities for all parents to be involved in volunteering for school events, to head an event or become a part of the board are available through contacting the co-presidents at [email protected].

Please make note of the following events coming up in need of volunteers:
 
Open House - Saturday October 14, 2023
Bakers and volunteers needed.
 
SHAlloween and Student Appreciation Day - Tuesday October 31, 2023 (during lunch periods)
We are looking for volunteers and bakers.
 
Accepted Student's Reception - Thursday January 18 and/or Saturday January 20, 2024
 Similar to Open House, volunteers can help by baking and/or attending to give a warm welcome to the new families joining the SHA community. 
 
Father - Daughter Dinner Dance - Friday, February 2, 2024
This committee of creative parents plan this event. It's a great night for our girls and their special dates. 
We are also looking for a chairperson or co-chairs for this event. Please email the Parent Connection email address if you are interested!
 
Teacher Appreciation Luncheon 
This will take place in the Spring- likely after the Easter break, mid-day on a weekday. Volunteers can help with set up and service and clean up of this lovely catered lunch. Usually volunteer times are in shifts.
