See Yourself at Sacred Heart Academy through our Eighth Grade SHAdow Program

We are excited to announce that our 8th grade SHAdow Program is back at Sacred Heart Academy!

SHAdowing during the academic day is one of the best ways to get a feel for the school through the eyes of a student.  Immersing themselves in the school community is very often what allows young women to "See Themselves at Sacred Heart Academy."

Information for our SHAdows
Our SHAdow Day begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m.  SHAdow guests may request a current student (Grade 9 or 10) with whom they wish to spend the day, or,  they will matched with one of our Student Ambassadors, based on common interests.

On the day of your scheduled visit, please arrive at SHA by 7:45 a.m., you will go directly to the General Office to check-in (pull around to the back of our school, our SHAdows will enter through the double glass doors which we refer to as the "Pavilion Doors").

Mrs. Stines or Ms. White, from the Admissions office will welcome you and introduce you to your host for the day.  Your SHAdow experience will end at 1:30 p.m. with our Admissions Team, who will answer any questions you have.

Dress code: please wear a dress or a skirt and blouse or your private school uniform.

Lunch: Our SHAdows join our students in SHA's cafeteria.  They are given a lunch voucher to purchase food so that they can experience lunch the way a SHA student does.  If you prefer, you are also welcome to bring a brown bag.

If you have any questions about your SHAdow appointment or our admissions process, please email admissions@sacredheartacademyli.org or call (516) 483-7383, ext. 209.

We look forward to welcoming you so you can SEE YOURSELF AT SHA!
