The team made SHA proud at the Federation meet! Results here .

New York State Federation Cross Country Championship Meet November 18, 2023.  

The meet will be held at Bowdoin Park in Wappinger Falls, NY.

New York State Federation Championship Swim Meet November 17 and November 18, 2023

The meet is being held in Rochester, NY.

SOCCER

Sacred Heart Wins the 2023 New York State Catholic High School Athletic Association Class AA Soccer Championship!

The State Championship Game will take place on Sunday, November 12th at 2:00 pm against  St. Joseph's by the Sea the winner representing the Archdiocese of New York. .

SHA’s Varsity Soccer team earned the 2023 NSCHSGAA League Championship.  Sacred Heart's last State championship came in 2016.

 

Special shout-outs to:

  • Julianna Bivona ‘24 named the NSCHSGAA Player of the Year.
  • Emma Frohne ‘24 named the MVP of the Championship Game.
  • Coach Gabe Ramos named the 2023 Coach of the Year.  

They also won the Varsity Soccer League Sportsmanship Award!

SWIMMING

SHA’s Varsity Swim team earned the 2023 NSCHSGAA League Championship title for the 5th year in a row! The end the season as undefeated league champions!

 

Special shout-outs to:

  • Lily Gormsen ‘25 for beating her own record and being named Swimmer of the Meet and Swimmer of the Year!
  • Coach Mary White named the 2023 Coach of the Year. 

Up next:

The State Federation Meet November 17, 18.  The team has won the Federation Meet the last two seasons. 

 

CROSS COUNTRY

SHA’s Sophomore and Freshmen Cross Country team finished out a strong season with an excellent showing at the intersectional races.

 

Special shout-outs to:

  • Maeve Going ‘26 for finishing in First Place, Sophomore division. She also won the Varsity race two years in row!
  • Elle Riches ‘27 for finishing in First Place, Freshmen division.

 

The Varsity Cross Country Team was the NSCHSAA League Runner Up at the League Championships on October 29, 2023.  

 

Special shout-outs to:

  • Maeve Going '26 for finishing in First Place in the Varsity race for the second year in a row!

 

VOLLEYBALL

SHA’s Varsity Volleyball team finished out a strong season with a thrilling game against Kellenberg.
