The Musical Theatre Program at Sacred Heart offers the opportunity for student to perform in the annual musical held in the early spring. Auditions are open to all students with a variety of roles. Students have the opportunity to choreograph the musical numbers, be involved in the behind-the-scenes activities such as costumes, make-up and stage crew. In addition, parents volunteer to construct scenery, sew costumes and provide nourishment during late rehearsals. It's a wonderful activity that demonstrates SHA working together as a community while having fun. The result? Outstanding productions such as Beauty and the Beast, Oliver, Annie, Wizard of Oz, and The Little Mermaid which can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages. Participants were featured on Telecare-TV’s “Broadway with the Bishop.” Performance dates for March 2018 are: March 9, 10 11,16 and 17.
