On Sunday, September 22, Sacred Heart Academy celebrated its 70th Anniversary. The SHA community gathered together for a mass, an open house of the school building, and the blessing and dedication of the new Fearless Girl replica statue at SHA.

A replica sculpture of the Fearless Girl was generously donated by Kathleen and Lawrence Moringiello P '00. At the conclusion of the SHA 70th Anniversary Celebration, our Fearless Girl was dedicated to the SHA Class of 2000 and blessed by principal S. Jean Amore and Mr. and Mrs. Moringiello in the presence of members of the SHA community. Our Fearless Girl stands proudly in the Sacred Heart Academy courtyard representing female empowerment and women in leadership.

A group of 23 Sacred Heart Academy rising sophomores had the experience of a lifetime, immersing themselves in the fields of communications, finance, the arts, engineering, and healthcare. During the Emerging Leaders Institute, these students learned how to Take the Lead in the real world.

The seniors of the Class of 2019 came together to decorate the Sacred Heart Academy Christmas tree at the annual Tree Lighting.

On Friday, September 7, we celebrated Freshman Senior Day at Sacred Heart Academy. Our seniors met their freshman "sisters" that they will have for the rest of they year.

On September 6, 2018, Sacred Heart Academy celebrated our Opening Liturgy and honored Alumna, Mayor of Malverne, and ambassador for the NYPD Patricia Ann Norris McDonald, '80 with the Justice and Peace Tribute.
