Alumnae Semaya Robinson and Avery Smith Earn United Way DREAMS for Youth Scholarship

Semaya Robinson '21 and Avery Smith '21 have earned the United Way DREAMS for Youth Scholarship.
 
Semaya received $2,000 and Avery received $1,000.
 
DREAMS stands for Determination, Realization, Enrichment, Academics, Mission and Service. Since its inception in 2002, the United Way of Long Island has awarded scholarships in the areas of Academics and Enrichment totaling more than $1 million.
 
The DREAMS for Youth Scholarship grants are awarded in the following areas:
 
  • Academic - This grant helps with costs associated with educational goals at a college, university, private or vocational school.
  • Enrichment - This grant helps with costs associated with activities that enrich the soul, body, heart or inspire creativity.
