The 2021 season is well underway for the Spartans of Spring Track and Field. Here are some highlights from The Hellgate Relays at Icahn Stadium on April 23 and a developmental meet at Holy Trinity on April 24.
Hellgate Relays - April 23
- Senior Mary Menger placed 3rd overall in the 100m dash in 13.39
- Junior Jahmilia Dennis placed 2nd overall in the 100 hurdles in 16.90
- Sophomore Brigid Byrnes placed 1st overall in the 400 hurdles in 1:18.02
- Our Distance Medley Relay placed 5th overall in a time of 14:12 made up Katie Hourani (Sr.), Mia Hannan (So.), Colleen Dorrian (Sr.), and Kelly O'Neil (Sr.)
- Our 4x1 relay placed 2nd overall in a time of 53.39 made up of Mary Menger (Sr.), Jahmilia Dennis(Jr.), Lexi Lafargue(Sr.), and Brigid Byrnes (So.)
Developmental Meet at Holy Trinity - April 24
- Sophomore Devin Parchment took 1st in the 800 in a time of 2:44.3
- Sophomore Brigid Byrnes took 1st in the 200 in a time of 27.1
