Seniors Emily Cheesman and Sophia Fitzpatrick have been named finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program for outstanding academic performances and high potential for future academic accomplishment.
Emily and Sophia were two of 16,000 semifinalists named in September 2020. Emily and Sophia had been named Semifinalists after being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) is now working on the selection process of about 7,500 Merit Scholarship winners from the group of finalists. The NMSC will begin mailing scholarship offers to winners in March. Good luck, Emily and Sophia!
