Your tax-deductible gift may be in the form of cash, credit card or check (made payable to Sacred Heart Academy), securities/stocks or visit our Planned Giving section for more long term giving options. Did you know, many companies offer a way for you to maximize your gift to Sacred Heart through an employee matching gift program?  Please contact your employer’s Human Resources Department to see if your company participates in a matching gift program.

Securities and Trusts
Gifts of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or securities can prove to be the most beneficial way to lend your support. Donations through a trust can provide an opportunity to acquire major tax benefits and receive a return from the assets. Usually funded through appreciated securities or property, trusts can ensure a steady sheltered annual income.

Your investment in our mission to educate young women in the tradition and spirituality of the Sisters of Saint Joseph is truly appreciated.  Our students are remarkable young women who are taking the lead on all fronts.  Over 90% of the Class of 2017 received scholarships in the areas of academics, athletics and arts which is consistent with last year.   Your gift sends a message about your confidence in Sacred Heart Academy’s future, and will inspire others to join us in empowering young women who “lead with heart.”  

Did you know you can allocate your gift to support any the following areas:

Unrestricted - Unrestricted gifts provide a key bridge between tuition revenue and the actual cost of running the School, supplementing the operating budget and directly affecting students, faculty and numerous programs across Sacred Heart Academy. Unrestricted gifts, irrespective of the size, help us to respond to the School’s most pressing needs and provide the flexibility to take advantage of unique and important opportunities.

Academic Scholarship - At the top of each class at Sacred Heart Academy are the recipients of our Academic Scholarships, young women with the highest grade point average for the year and who demonstrates outstanding leadership characteristics.

Alumnae Association Scholarship - This scholarship is a testament to the sisterhood that exists between current students and their alumnae sisters.

Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab - Your support of this important program has helped to propel our course offerings to the forefront of education where we continue to stand as the first and only all-girls school to hold Bloomberg Terminals. 

Dear Neighbor or Tuition Assistance Scholarships - These important funds are dedicated to the advancement of academically promising young women in need.

Honorarium and Memoriam Gifts - Your opportunity to remember loved ones and celebrate their life or to honor alumnae, students, teachers, or parents for birthdays, graduations, holidays, and special achievements.

Planned Giving
You can insure Sacred Heart Academy has the support it needs for generations to come with a charitable bequest specified in your will. If you already have a will, a Codicil (a written change or addition) can be added. Life Insurance Consider donating a Life Insurance Policy. It is possible to name Sacred Heart Academy as owner or the beneficiary of the policy.  Click here for more information.
