Students came from all over Nassau and Suffolk Counties to compete for a spot in the International Science & Engineering Fair this May in Los Angeles, CA. Only the top 15 projects on Long Island will advance to California.
  • 80 schools
  • 405 projects
  • 610 students
Since 2005, the number of schools participating in the Charles Duggan Long Island Science & Engineering Fair for high school students, named for its founder, has increased from 50 to 80 schools.  At the international level, LISEF students mingle with Nobel Laureates, meet the brightest student scientists from all over the world and have the opportunity to present their work to over 1000 judges (university professors, physicians and industry professionals). LISEF winners historically do well with 65% – 80% winning at least one award.
  • Good Luck, Girls!
