President's Circle members play a critical role in advancing Sacred Heart, through gifts that help to expand scholarship support, spiritual enrichments, and advancements in academic and athletic programming.   • Merit and Need-Based Scholarships

    Merit and Need-Based Scholarships of various levels are awarded to young women who demonstrate academic achievement and outstanding leadership qualities. Some examples of our current offerings are:

    • Alumnae Association Scholarship is a partial need-based scholarship available to an incoming 9th grade student with a Sacred Heart Academy alumna connection.
    • The Dear Neighbor Scholarship is a full tuition need-based scholarship awarded to an incoming 9th grade student from the Hempstead/Uniondale/Roosevelt area who demonstrates a desire to succeed and become a contributing member of the SHA community.
    • Mary A. Haigney Endowed Scholarship is a full or partial scholarship that is offered annually and in perpetuity to students who are in need of financial support.

    Tuition Assistance provides vital financial support to families who value Catholic education and are unable to meet the tuition expense at SHA without assistance. 

  • Planned Giving

    You can insure Sacred Heart Academy has the support it needs for generations to come with a charitable bequest specified in your will. If you already have a will, a Codicil (a written change or addition) can be added. Life Insurance Consider donating a Life Insurance Policy.
