SHA's CSJ Leaders Club volunteered at The Mary Brennan INN, where they prepared food for those in need and connected with SHA alumna and Nassau County District Attorney Anne Galligan Donnelly ’82, highlighting the strength of the SHA network in the community
Members of Sacred Heart Academy’s CSJ Leaders Club recently volunteered at The Mary Brennan INN, a local organization dedicated to serving those in need. Students spent the day preparing bags of food for distribution, embodying SHA’s core values of compassion and service.
During their volunteer work, the students had the chance to meet Nassau County District Attorney Anne Galligan Donnelly, SHA Class of '82. This connection underscored the strength and reach of the SHA network and highlighted the lasting influence of SHA’s mission of service in the community.
The experience was inspiring for our students, who not only contributed to an important cause but also connected with a distinguished alumna who has dedicated her life to public service. Encounters like this remind us that SHA’s network of committed leaders and changemakers is truly everywhere, making an impact in countless ways.
