The “WRITE Way” club began as a journaling club but evolved into all kinds of writing, including Poetry, short stories and some will still journal or if they are interested in a bigger project, they're free to do that also. We currently have a lot of talkers and usually we begin the meeting catching up and discussing what's on our minds. If there is writing that they would like to share, they are free to do that then. Writing prompts are provided for those that need inspiration and if anyone has a prompt idea they are free to share it. The second half is writing time. Writing is turned in to the moderator, but is not graded since our purpose is to be encouraging and creative. If they ask for suggestions on how to improve, I will give them that but usually I will comment either in a positive way or encourage them to consider another option or perspective.
