Science Olympiad

Welcome to Science Olympiad, a club that addresses the curiosity of every scientifically inquisitive mind. The club meets once a week and exposes students to building events in Physics, chemical analysis in Chemistry and Forensics, the mysteries of the Universe through Astronomy and Geology, and biological studies in Physiology and Anatomy, Disease Detective, and the studies of Microbes.

Science Olympiad is a competition in which teams of 2-3 students compete in 30+ different STEM events such as Anatomy and Physiology, Wind Power, Robotic Arm, Microbe Mission, Electric Vehicle, Chemistry Lab, Dynamic Planet, etc.  Each year, Sacred Heart Academy participates in the Nassau West Regional Competition.  In the past few years, we have had multiple students place in the top 10, including students who have won medals for their events in a field full of many competitive local schools.
